BOOK REVIEW 20 - CUT by PATRICIA McCORMICK

662597

THE SYNOPSIS:
Callie cuts herself. Never too deep, never enough to die. But enough to feel the pain. Enough to feel the scream inside.
Now she's at Sea Pines, a "residential treatment facility" filled with girls struggling with problems of their own. Callie doesn't want to have anything to do with them. She doesn't want to have anything to do with anyone. She won't even speak.
But Callie can only stay silent for so long...

THE REVIEW:
This is my first book about self harm. It is a powerful read about harm and recovery. It's well written and different from any other book I have ever read .
There is nothing negative ,not according to me at least ,in this book. I have this sudden urge to read more about people who harm themselves because I want to know why they do it and what exactly they feel while and after doing it .
Good book. Finished within a day and a half . :-)
